Larry DeMeo is a 1996 graduate of Boston College, where
he received a B.S. in biochemistry, and a 2003 magna cum laude graduate of the
New England School of Law, where he was third in his class. Larry was a staff
editor of the New England International and Comparative Law Annual, winner of
the New England School of Law’s mock trial competition, and a member of the
school’s national trial team.
While in law school, Larry received
numerous academic awards including an NESL Merit Scholarship and an NESL
Trustees’ Scholarship. He was a four-time winner of the annual New England
Scholar Award and received multiple CALI Excellence awards as the top student in
various subject areas. He also worked as an intern for both Chief Justice Karyn
Scheier of the Massachusetts Land Court and the Suffolk County District
Attorney’s Office. Following his graduation from law school, Larry served as a
law clerk for the justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
After completing his clerkship, Larry DeMeo founded his own firm, where
he provided his clients with innovative counsel and exceptional
service. For two years he was a partner at Cox Davis LLP, a small
MetroWest firm, but he left to pursue his interest in intellectual
property law and litigation. In addition to intellectual
property, his areas of practice include civil litigation, criminal
defense, appellate law, real estate, family law, bankruptcy, and
education law.
